Not for Profit organisation, which consists of a team who are passionate about giving back to the local community and help inspire and support vulnerable people to be the best they can be and lead healthy, stable independent lives.

Our aim in is to encourage our clients to train in a professional field which interest them, in order to provide a foundation for work

Umar Gulzar
Managing Director & Support Worker
Umar Gulzar has always had a passion for helping those that are less fortunate and over the years has worked with many local and international charities, to help provide food, medicines and shelter to people that are in desperate need.
Throughout the last decade Umar has been involved with local charities such as Wycombe Homeless Support to help house individuals that are sleeping rough because they do not have a roof over their heads and are not able to pay rent to private landlords.
Umar has over 10 years of experience managing HMO’s as well as an extensive background in sales and the financial services sector, working with big names such as Renault, BT Local Business and most recently with HSBC Middle East.
Umar’s believes that by working together with local agencies, government authorities and employers’ Tranquil minds can provide key support to our clients and help improve lives.
Tranquil Minds is working with local employment agencies to create work experience-based programmes for our clients and ex-offenders, to enable and equip them with the right skills and confidence to integrate back into the work place.

Alisha
Support Worker & House Manager
Alisha is an exceptional support worker and house manager whose unwavering dedication is complemented by a profound sense of empathy and understanding, shaped by her own challenging childhood experiences. Her ten years of experience as a nursery worker have equipped her with invaluable skills in nurturing and guiding young children, laying strong foundations for their futures. This extensive background in early childhood education has not only honed her ability to communicate effectively but also instilled in her a deep appreciation for the importance of support at every stage of life.
Driven by a desire to create meaningful change, Alisha transitioned into support work, where she can have a more profound impact on individuals navigating their own challenges. Her personal history fuels her passion for helping others overcome obstacles, and her compassionate approach ensures that each person she works with feels valued and understood. Alisha’s ability to connect with individuals on a personal level fosters trust and encourages open communication, essential elements in any support role.
For Alisha, her work transcends the traditional boundaries of a job; it is a heartfelt mission to offer support and hope to those in need. She believes that everyone deserves a chance to heal and grow, and she dedicates herself fully to ensuring that no one feels alone on their journey. Paul Fernandez-Montes
Finance / Accountant
A qualified accountant with a background in major projects across a range of industries, Paul has worked in both public and private sectors. His creativity, experience, financial background, and attention to detail has enabled him to facilitate the delivery of a wide range of schemes including several major urban regeneration schemes.
